Angela is a broadcast and multimedia journalist. She is currently a co-anchor, reporter and producer for the morning show, WJFW Newswatch 12 Today, in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.
While working for Rhinelander’s NBC station, she also helped film, produce and edit a documentary about the yearly tradition and history of snowshoe baseball in Lake Tomahawk, Wisconsin.
She graduated from Ithaca College in May 2018 with a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in Sociology, placed on the Dean’s List multiple semesters. Angela was born in South Korea and adopted at three months old, growing up in Syracuse, NY then moving to Charlotte, NC for the remainder of her childhood.
While studying at Ithaca College, she worked as a multimedia journalist for the nation’s oldest college television station, ICTV, Channel 16 in Tompkins County. Angela has reported, produced, and anchored, leading to her being a founder and executive producer of ICTV’s newest morning news show, Good Day Ithaca. She also was a weekly newscaster for WICB-FM (91.7 FM) and VIC Radio.
She loves to cover all sorts of topics, from breaking news to international news to entertainment stories to social justice coverage. Angela has also filmed, edited, and produced an award-winning documentary on international adoption.
